Rosa Camoirano was born in 1931. She was born in Chivasso in Piedmont. She spent her youth in Turin. In 1956 she moved to Lomellina region in Lombardy.

Rosa Camoirano tells her life history, describing Turin during WWII. She remembers the songs that were sung in the taverns and in the houses of the city.  In the interview she sings some of these songs that she comments with some memories of her youth and Crova, the village where her grandfather had a farm.
