Interviewed in 2010, Liliana Besta Battaglia, is a retired teacher. She was born in 1927 and completed her university studies in History.
She was an activist of the Christiandemocratic party, which she left in the early '90s. She has always been an enthusiastic supporter of the European Union and supported her students to join student international exchange programmes
