Lucio Allocca

Scents which evoke sensations: the memories of an actor

Lucio Allocca, actor, director of television programs and theatrical drama teacher, is born in Naples, July 5, 1943. He tells about his memories linked to Neapolitan tradition and mixes them with the art of theatre. From Tabernaria to casatiello: memories from his childhood, when, during Easter, his house was submerged by the scent of casatiello mingled with the thousands of species of pastiera and the memory of homemade tagliolini and left to air dry. He tells about his theatrical experience with Edoardo and Peppino De Filippo and about his role of Otello in the popular soap opera Un posto al sole.

The most difficult dish to prepare? Spaghetti with fresh tomato sauce. He'll leave also a doubt about how to cook hard-boiled egg.
