Cattle farmers for 3 generations

The Pecollo have raised cattle for three generations. The new cattleshed, near Pesio, is a modern building equipped with the most advanced tools for milking and cleaning. Their milk is classiefied as "High quality". In the interview Domenico and his parents tell how the way of raising cows, to milk and drinking milk changed.

The father of Domenico is still used to have a nice soup of bread and milk as a snack. Domenico, newborn, was raised drinking cow milk.

This interview was collected for a research promoted by the Cuneo Province Council - Department of Agriculture, parks and forest and conducted by the University of Gastronomic Sciences in order to institute the archive Cuneo province agriculture between tradition and innovation.
