Cortereggio Canavese Piattella Bean

 Caterina Boggio was born in 1926 and interviewed in 2013.
She explains the old methods of cultivation of the Piattella bean and the role of this vegetable in the economy of the village. She points out the use of the bean in the local cuisine: for the preparation of the tofeja soup and other dishes. 
She remembers the main traditional forms of festive aggregation, the winter nights spent singing ancient folk songs and the main feasts of the ritual calendar of the community. 
The interview is entirely in Piedmontese language.
