Mohamed Sbai El Kalil è un allevatore di dromedari. Il latte di dromedario è uno degli alimenti base della dieta alimentare delle popolazioni nomadi e stanziali del Sahara. Mohamed ci presenta lo zrig, una bevanda dissetante a base di latte fermentato diluito con acqua; servito in un recipiente comune ricavato da una zucca che viene offerto ovunque nell’Africa sahariana. Vengono illustrate le proprietà del latte di dromedario e delle sue eccellenti proprietà alimentari: ricco di vitamina C sopperisce alla scarsa reperibilità di frutta e verdura. Da questo latte si possono naturalmente ricavare formaggi e burro molto prelibati.
