Giovanni Vachino is an architect, born in Biella June 28 1947. For decades he worked to preserve knowledge and witnesses of the protagonists of Biella textile history. He was one of the main promoters for the restoration of the Fabbrica della Ruota, which is an unique example of industrial archeology, has organized over the years numerous exhibition in the location.
This documentary focues mostly on "Campioni di Stoffa" exhibition. This title is a pun that alludes to both the samples that Biella firms used to market their products and the sharp quality superiority of products "made in Biella."
