
Franco Lubatti
Novara rediscovered after 30 years of work abroad
Interviewed in 2011, Franco Lubatti was born in 1937 in Novara, he worked in Brazil for over thirty year, working in the farma industry. He merried a Brazilian woman. He have returned to Novara with his family and, he says, his children feel themselves to be really part of Novara.
He describes Novara as it was when he had left it in the early years after WWII. When he returned into the city, he joined his mother's farmacy and innovated the business.
He descirbes the character of Novara people, their being suspicious and somehow a mix of Lombardy a Piedmontese culture.
