
Michele Ghigo
An amateur photographer narrates 70 years of life and work in Novara
Interviewed in 2011, Michele Ghigo was born in 1931 in Turin. He tells his life history.
After a few years spent in Turin, he moved to Novara with his family. He came back to Turin in order to attend the University. Completed his studies he moved back to Novara where he works.
During the entire his life he cultivated his passion for photogragry; a passion that has him become president of the Italian federation of the Photographic Associations (FIAF).
In the interview he describes and shows aspets of Novara that are no more, such as taverns, artisan workshops, monuments and other landscapes
