Mario Belforti Maurizio Gorgo
A life near to Maira river
Interviewed in 2007, Maurizio Gorgo was born in 1925 near the Maira river. He tells about his life as a farmer and about his life with the river. His memories go to the 5 May 1949 and 1950 when the river flooded the fields and roads.
Maurizio tells us that for his generation the river was a source of life and gathering. In fact, during the summer young people spent their evenings on the banks.
