Teresio Pareglio

Istituto storico per la storia della Resistenza e della società contemporanea nel Biellese, nel Vercellese e in Valsesia

Interviewed in 2011, Teresio Pareglio, was born in 1926 in Vercelli. He was a partisan during WWII and his battlename was “Euclide”. In the interview he tells about the way he joined the resistance after the 8th September, 1941. He remembers many episodes happened in Mucengo, a place defined a nest of the antifascist movement. Mr Pareglio became polical commisar of Flecchia's group. He presents in details the operation “Zucchero”, which participed, and the role of women during the war.
