From a migrant to a trader
Alberto Lisanti, barber and trader was born in Basilicata in 1938. He remembers the "Saint" of Volvera, a healer that has worked in Volvera from the 1930s to 1993. He speaks of his arrival to Volvera in 1961 and his life in the city where he opened a barber-shop. He describes the encounter with his future wife and their wedding. His memories describe the development of Volvera in the course of the decades.
Michelina Favaro, born in Volvera in 1944, speaks of the integration of the migrants from Southern Italy and the changes that Volvera undertook in the 1960s. She laments the scarse attention of the people of the city for the commerce.
Alberto Lisanti then talks about his shop and the change of fashion in the 1960s and 1970s. He speaks of the local football team and its experience.
