Peasant rites
In this second interview, which took place in 2012, Catterina Tarasco, born in Priocca (Cuneo) in 1924, continues his story about her youth and family. He points out moments and practices concerning the life in a peasant community, such as the ways in which a bad cold was treated and the recipes of traditional dishes. She tells about the rite of Canté j’euv, during the Holy week. She tells also about the harvest season and the techniques applied for the production of objects such as bed sheets.
