From Balvano to Asti
Interviewed in December 2012, Giuseppe Barbazita is one of the residents of Casa di Riposo Città d'Asti rest home.
He was born in Balvano (PT) in 1921. He left his native village in Southern Italy and, in 1957, moved to Asti, the city where he still lives.
In the interview, he tells about his migration and his life full of experiences. He outlines the history of Italy during the Twentieth century, the sacrifices, war and poverty he witnessed.
