In this interview conducted in 2012, Delmo Maestri, born in 1928, recounts his militancy in Alessandria communist party. He offers an outline of the the city's intellectual milieau after the World War II, the great crisis in 1956, the relationship between students and communist leaders during the student protests in 1968, the workers' struggles in 1969.
