In this interview conducted in 2012, Delmo Maestri, born in 1928, presents his anti-fascist family. His father Ottavio was a communist militant and a tenacious opposer of the regime. He was sentenced to political confinement from 1934 to 1937. Maestri recounts the ways in which he established a relationships with other students of the city of Alessandria. After the early contacts with the partisan groups, he was actively involved in the Resistance as a member of the X Division Garibaldi (107 ° Brg), in the hills of Monferrato.
