Giuseppe Gastaldo
Father Emilio
Giuseppe Gastaldo, born in 1922, is a Capuchin priest known as Father Emilio. After the years of Second World war, which he spent in the Capuchin monastery in Turin, he was a missionary in Kenya, a priest in Alba, and finally at Shrine of Our Lady of Good Council in Castiglione Tinella where he actually lives.
Father Emilio has lived the twentieth century, from Mussolini's march on Rome to the end of the century, never losing his goal: to promote humanity in all its shades, because, as he explains, in every man there is Christ.
