Duo Humberto y Daniel comes from Cuba. The play songs of the classical repertoire. They are old pieces or new ones which were arranged according with the traditional data-style of the island.

According with Humberto Rìos Labrada, an agronomist and researcher whose studies have innovated Cuban agriculture, music is a way to tell what science discovers.

Humberto participated to Terra Madre 2008 so to remember us that the word agricultura (in Spanish) is a compound word that tells us that there cannot be any agri, any cultivated field, without a  cultura, culture.
