 Azzali Maria, born in 1930, recounts his life as a farmer in the Po delta. She temembers her work as a rice weeder, the customs concerning singing and working in rice fields. She reconstructs the production cycle of hemp. She speaks of the feasts and rituals of the community of Porto Tolle and talks of its cousine, the role of polenta and fish caught along the river.
