Interviewed in 2012, Alberto Burzio, aka Barba Bertu, is a journalist and writer, born in 1959 in Asolo (Treviso). He is currently living in Frassino, in the Varaita valley, where he also opened the Bed & Breakfast Facial Bertu.

Alberto Burzio loves simple people who are the main characters of his books. Among his memories, Barba Bertu remembers a very interesting story of an Occitan nun, Sister Margaret Perin, a good and simple woman from the Alps.

The writer also talks about his childhood, his parents and his brother's death. In the second part of the interview barba Bertu focuses on the treasures of the Varaita valley with its beautiful villages and its very special inhabitants .
