Born in 1963, Giorgio Ferrighetto is a old school farmer. Every year, he takes his cows to Alpine pasture so to gain a high quality milk from his cows, gray Alpine breed, employed in the production of artisanal cheese.

In this interview taken in 2012, Ferrighetto offers an overview of herding practices, and the most suitable breeds. He speaks about its past, his childhood, and the beginning of his career, pointing out that the difficulties of present days. Finally, the breeder focuses on current issues, such as organic farming and the CAP (Common Agricultural Policy).
