The monks recipes of Mount Athos
Marianath Milona, is born in 1965 and raised in Germany of Greek origin. She later went to Greece for holiday and was fascinated to find out the monastery of Mount Athos, a very respected place by the orthodox church people. She developed interest in learning the cuisine of the monks which later wrote recipe book about them and became the first woman to visit the monastery; indeed the women are not allowed to visit the monastery. Milona spent her time learning the culture and the rules of the monks of mt.Athos
