Francesco Pone
Migrating to Volvera
Fancesco Pone was born in Santa Anastasia (NA) in 1951. In the late 1960s he moved to Volvera where he found a work as a metal-worker. He describes the initial coldness of the Voghera community towards the migrants from Southern Italy, the ways in which he spent his free time in the community, his work as a turner. He speaks about the transformations of Volvera in the course of the past forty years, and the festivals of the city.
