Giuseppe Porporato tells the history of his life from his youth, He describes the games he was used to play and the years at the elementary school attended in a building that is no more. He points out the main protagonists of the 1960s and the social tensions that tainted the 1970s. He tells his experience as an elementary teacher and involvement in the Catholic movement, ACLI. He highlights that WWII and the resistance have been removed from the collective memory.
