
Remo Falconieri
Cieck, a special wine grower firm
Remo Falconieri, owner of Cieck Firm, was interviewed by the students of the University of Gastronomic Sciences in 2012. He speaks about his firm, founded in 1985 and his prized wines.
He tells about the varieties of vine that disappeared in Canavese region and those that are cultivated and used nowadays, such as Neretto di San Giorgio and Erbaluce.
The best product of the firm is his Spumante Brut San Giorgio, classified as the best spumante wine of Italy in 2001. Another excellency is the passito Alladium that won the golden medal at Siena competition.
In the interview, Remo Falconieri explains some of the techniques the firm use for making their passito.
