Alfredo Cunhal, portoghese, ma residente a Badajoz ha sempre difeso la sua terra e le sue origini. Il suo racconto ricostruisce buone pratiche agro-ecologiche sino dai tempi dei romani. Ha cominciato la sua avventura di agricoltore e allevatore con tre semplici cereali per poi espandersi. La regione ed il suo clima mediterraneo, sono l'ideale per lo sviluppo di un agricoltura sana. Come sostiene Alfonso "c'è più biodiversità in questa zona che nella foresta tropicale del Brasile". Le influenze e le migrazioni di popoli e conquistatori hanno dato una cultura ed una influenza a questi territori.
